Vision boards – tap into what you really want

I starting creating vision boards about 10 years ago when a group of friends and I would get together at the beginning of the year to make a collage to represent what we wanted to create for our year ahead. It was a social event and it was a good excuse to get together and share our dreams – whether it was a new job, new kitchen or new relationship or to let go of something we didn’t want in our lives any more.

About Dame Helen Mirren and what ageing really means to me

Dame Helen Mirron. Sexy at 70

I love this photo of Dame Helen Mirren by Robert Zukerman. I’ve seen this post floating around FB for a while. It appeared in my news feed again today, and once again, the words from Brene Brown quoted in the post deeply resonated. Helen Mirren is now a poster woman for aging gracefully and being sexy at 70 – “the new 40” apparently. Whatever Helen Mirren was thinking at the time this was taken or whatever it is supposed to portray, what I love is that it feels like she is saying “Here I am. This is me. Take it or leave it.”

What inspired me today

I came across this by Matt Licata this morning – have a beautiful day …
